I like the leisure of coming back to what I previously missed out on at my pace.Įither way I got angry, shut off the game and went back to playing Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, I like how that game doesn't close me off to any areas. I have an OCD tendency to clear everything. I would really love to play a game for once when I cannot be truly dependent on it. I bought the strategy guide and noticed how many things I missed out. I wasn't done exploring then cutscene forces me out of exploration without clear indication that interacting with this module will force the next moment in the story. Needless to say this got me kinda pissed. I guess I'm the type of player who wants to scrub the game of all the optional stuff and get everything that's there before I forced to exit out. I reloaded an autosave and then it autosaved screwing over my previous autosave thus I am forced to replay the mission. It wasn't quite clear that I wouldn't go back to exploring but the game forced me out of the moment. I never got to finish exploring the vault for collectables and containers but somehow I triggered the next part of the story forcing me to advance in the story. ![]() Got to playing Mass Effect Andromeda and started noticing these moments.
